Mark’s career includes leadership positions in prominent Pittsburgh health systems, including Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, St. Francis Surgery Center-North, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Allegheny General Hospital, West Penn Hospital, and Allegheny Health Network and its predecessor, WPAHS. Most recently, for Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia, Mark served as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Business Development and Strategy.
Beyond these professional responsibilities, Mark has volunteered his time and talents to support various community, educational, and faith-based organizations, including the Mary Baldwin University Board of Trustees, The Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce, and multiple mission trips to the Nyadire Mission in Zimbabwe.
He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Baldwin Wallace University, Berea, Ohio, and a Master of Health Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh, where he later joined the adjunct faculty in the Graduate School of Public Health. He and his wife reside in the scenic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, cheering on the Steelers and Pirates and spending time with their grandchildren.
